*Before you read on, please note that yes I am wearing a bandaid on my FACE in all of these photos. Bloggers are people too, and I really had no other option. No, I am currently not involved in a brand deal with the first-aid company, however, that would be a really fun collab.
Rancher hats, Panama hats, wide brim fedoras —
whatever you want to call them, I love them. Truthfully, it takes a lot for someone to rock an accessory like this. You stand out from a crowd but in an amazing way. It’s taken me a long time to finally wear a rocker-chic cherry-on-top hat like the one I’d wear now. But I never want to take it off ever again.
I paired this hat, from Target, with two different looks. The first is simple and girly with a twist. This button front midi dress is from Forever21 and is quite possible the softest thing I’ve ever own. Maybe it’s because I’m wrapped in ribbed fabric, or maybe F21 just upped their game. Either way — this dress is fab. I threw on a pair of Club C’s from Reebok for a dressed down vibe, then topped it off with a — you guessed it — a rancher hat.
My second outfit is way edgier. I took a Mumford & Son’s Delta tour tee and paired it with my favorite pair of loose fitting jeans. I threw on a mule for some femininity and went with a wild pattern like cheetah. I’ve been really into mixing prints lately, and something about leopard and graphic tees really speak to me. Last but not least, I topped it off with the same hat for the completed look. Voila.
